What is it?

First, Bacillus Coagulans is a bacteria – but don’t worry it is considered to be a “good” or “beneficial” bacteria, also called a probiotic. Bacillus Coagulans are part of the Bacillus species. It was discovered over one-hundred years ago, in 1915. It produces lactic acid and is sometimes confused with lactobacillus but is not a lactic-acid bacterium. 

What does it do?

This probiotic supports gastrointestinal health, the immune system, and healthy detoxification. This probiotic may provide relief from occasional digestive upset like diarrhea, gas and bloating, including traveler’s diarrhea and diarrhea that is caused by antibiotics. Unlike other probiotics, Bacillus Coagulans is heat-stable.
