Carrot Cucumber Limeade Skinny Juice

I love carrot juice, but sometimes it a bit much for me all by itself. This recipe is a unique twist on the traditional carrot juice. By adding in cucumber it serves to “water down” the carrot juice a bit, as well as lessoning the sugar making it a great recipe if you are juicing for weight loss. By adding in the lime, it adds a great energizing zest to the juice, which I just love.

This is a great summer time juice as well since the cucumber makes the juice very hydrating and light. You don’t have to feel guilty about this juice if you are slimming down for the summer!

Ingredients:

  • 3 carrots
  • 1 cucumber
  • ½ lime ( 1 lime if you want more tart)

Directions:

Wash and process the ingredients as you typically would for your particular juicer. If you want to keep your juice looking lighter colored for better presentation if you are serving guests, you can peel the cucumber first. Add the ingredients into the juicer as you typically would and either peel the lime and add in the slices, or squeeze into you final juice and stir.
